Our Story
Rock the Rock Hockey Podcast was born from a simple truth: hockey isn’t just a sport, it’s a lifestyle, a heartbeat, and sometimes a source of absolute chaos (the good kind). What started as countless conversations, heated debates, and “did-you-see-that?!” texts between Kristina and Candace has grown into a full-fledged show dedicated to celebrating the sport we love.
We cover the NHL, AHL, and prospects across the Washington Capitals pipeline, not just because we’re diehard Caps and Hershey Bears fans, but because we’re fascinated by the entire ecosystem that makes hockey tick. From breakout rookies to grindline grinders, goalie drama to front-office wizardry, if it’s happening in the hockey world, we’re talking about it.
But Rock the Rock wouldn’t be possible without the MVPs behind the scenes: our producer—Josh. He keeps the show running smoothly, catches our slips, sharpens our sound, and turns our rambling excitement into something you actually want to listen to.
And yes, while our hearts may live in the DMV hockey scene, we don’t shy away from the rest of the league. For the 2025–2026 season, you’ll even catch us cheering loudly for the Minnesota Wild (we contain multitudes).
